How to Buy a Forced Reset Trigger Online

Buying a Forced Reset Trigger online is straightforward, similar to purchasing other items online, with one crucial difference: firearm parts like triggers cannot be shipped directly to the buyer. They must be sent to a federally licensed firearms dealer (FFL). During checkout, instead of entering your shipping address, you will select a local firearms dealer. We will ship your trigger to the dealer you choose. When picking up your trigger, you must complete the necessary paperwork and pass any required background checks. Most dealers charge a nominal fee for transferring firearm parts. If your trigger is shipped to a Rare Breed Trigger location, we do not charge a transfer fee. The transfer process typically takes about 10-15 minutes. Some states have waiting periods that begin after the transfer is complete, while others allow immediate possession once the process is finished.

Placing Your Order

  1. Find and Add to Cart: Locate the Rare Breed Trigger you want and add it to your cart.
  2. Proceed to Checkout: On the Shopping Cart page, click the Proceed to Checkout button.
  3. Login or Guest Checkout: Log in to your account or choose Guest Checkout.
  4. Enter Billing Information: Enter your verifiable billing address (matching the ID for the required paperwork). P.O. Boxes cannot be used for firearm part sales.

  8. Review and Place Order: Review your order, then click Place Order.

You will receive an order confirmation email shortly after placing your order, followed by a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.

After Your Trigger Has Been Delivered

If your Forced Reset Trigger was shipped to a Rare Breed Trigger store, allow 24 hours for check-in before the store contacts you. If you haven’t been contacted within 24 hours, please call the store to inquire about your trigger. If your trigger was shipped to another FFL dealer, contact them directly for status updates.

Transferring Your Trigger

When you arrive at your chosen FFL dealer:

  • Inspect Thoroughly: Inspect the trigger thoroughly before beginning the transfer process. Once complete, the trigger is yours and cannot be returned to Rare Breed Trigger.
  • Defective Trigger: If you find the trigger defective, leave it with the dealer and contact us immediately. We will arrange for the trigger to be returned to Forced Reset Trigger at no cost to you or the dealer.
  • Complete Transfer: Follow the dealer’s instructions for completing the necessary paperwork and background check. If you pass, complete the transfer.
  • Waiting Periods: If your state requires a waiting period, it begins after you pass the background check. If no waiting period is required, you may take your trigger home immediately.

Things to Keep In Mind

  • Know the Laws: It is your responsibility to know the laws regarding the purchase, transfer, and ownership of firearm parts in your area.
  • Contact the FFL Dealer: Confirm that your chosen FFL dealer will process your transfer before placing your order. Ask about their transfer fees, which you are responsible for paying.
  • Inspect Before Transfer: Inspect the trigger thoroughly before completing the transfer. Once done, the trigger cannot be returned to Forced Reset Trigger for any reason. For post-transfer issues, contact the manufacturer for warranty and repair.
  • Failed Background Check: If you fail the background check, return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
